3D Motion plate

The Swing Catalyst Motion Plate is already used by many of the best coaches in the world. The Motion Plate is a unique combination of our state-of-the-art pressure plate technology (Balance Plate) and a highly advanced force plate. Not only can you study detailed foot pressure data and CoP patterns, but the Motion Plate also provides horizontal and vertical force measurements. From this, we measure the amount of torque- and ground reaction forces generated during a golf swing.

All Motion Plate data is perfectly synchronized with high-speed video images and data from the most popular ball/club tracking devices.

SWING CATALYST CERTIFICATION

The Swing Catalyst Certification Program provides insights into how the best golfers in the world are using the ground to create power and consistency, and how the ground reaction forces affect the golf swing. There is no requirement to own a Swing Catalyst Balance Plate or a 3D Motion Plate to take this course.

Our coaches - Jacky Mok and Alvin Choi have already reached the highest level of Swing Catalyst Certification. They can provide more in-depth information on ground forces, foot pressure distribution, and aims to explain how vertical, horizontal and torque forces affect the golf swing.

FLIR Flea®3 Camera

We use multiple FLIR Flea®3 cameras cooperate with Swing Catalyst 3D Motion Plate to provide better review for golfers.

The Flea®3 cameras offers a variety of CMOS and CCD image sensors in a compact package. The Flea3 leverages a variety of Sony, ON Semi, and e2v sensors ranging from 0.3 MP to 5.0 MP and from 8 FPS to 120 FPS.
